Training
Our customized training programs are available as needed or on a preset schedule for individual sectors or departments or on general topics such as motivation, guest reception, and tourism knowledge.
Each GHMBA instructor has given training courses to students in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries.
All GHMBA instructors have received professional training in tourism lecturing from ITHQ, Collège Mérici, Association des Hôteliers du Québec, Days Inn Canada, Days Inn of America, Conference Board of Canada, Delta Hotels and Resort, or the Hotel Association of Canada.
Michel Bélanger has also been active on program committees for hotel management courses at ITHQ and Collège Mérici, and has worked with the Quebec training board and Hotel Association of Canada on certificate programs for reception and housekeeping staff. In addition, he has worked with the committee to implement a joint ITHQ/UQAM B.A. program in hotel management.
